A week away, Counting down till the big day.

October 15, 2010
The Bachelorett party, It was nothing to exciting we just went out to dinner at Apple B's. My sister who was hosting the party had to work late so she left work for dinner and had to go right back to work after. Lots of family and friends came for it being such short notice.   So the beginning of October Brandon and I decided to get married on 10-21-2010 well actually I wanted to marry on 10-10-2010 or 10-20-2010  but I'll get to that in a minute. We had lots of planning to do for only having about two weeks to plan everything. At first we were just going to do a informal wedding, jeans and white button up t-shirts.We were going to have a simple little wedding for now sense there was such short notice, and do a bigger formal renewing of the vows. The farther along we got in planning the more we decided to do. My aunt bless her heart helped with finances and told me I should get a dress and do it more formal just in case we don't get to do it again. We were going to hold our wedding at a church so we got a hold of the bishop to arrange the place. We asked if he would be able to marry us and he had told us both our records had to be at the church and of course my records are lost some where in the world so he had to talk to the high counsel to get approval to marry us and wanted to have a meeting with us as well. We had only seven days to make this happen. We went around in circles trying to find a church that didn't have something going on and finding who would marry us it was a mess. So we finally found the perfect church they were available and everything so we just needed the bishop of that church to give us the OK . We got the call from the bishop and he said it didn't feel right so we couldn't do our wedding there not even our reception. At this point Brandon and I were a little upset at how the church handled things, we couldn't get a bishop to marry us nor a church to hold our wedding and or reception at. So i started calling around trying to find a place to do our wedding all the places wanted $1500 just for the Ceremony, we didn't have that kind of money. Finally I got a hold of someone at Memory grove and they were in our price range to hold just the ceremony there so we went there to book it.

Rose Garden where we held our ceremony

Of course 10-10-2010 was out of the options because we live in Utah and nothing is open and no one works on a Sunday. next in line was 10-20-2010 we talked to the lady at Memory grove and of course no availability. Last but not least they had an opening on 10-21-2010 at this point I had no time to be disagreeing, so be it we were getting married October 21, 2010 .Now we needed to find a place for our reception, Thanks to Brandon's sister Melody she talked to her bishop and he said we could hold it at her church , Finally we had the places .At night Brandon and I would sit and go through music for hours trying to find the music to play through out our wedding and to find the special songs for certain things like what song to walk down the isle to and the first dance etc. It was a lot of fun I enjoyed the time was had together. We called around trying to find a place that was in our price range to do our flowers and cake that was a mission, Thanks to Ally and her people I got a hold of her friends flower and cake shop they gave me an amazing deal got my flowers ordered at Dahlia's Flowers and my cake from Bayshore cakes.

And so it began we decided to do our colors just black and white, flowers daisies, and place Memory Grove.Still so much to do ! Well sense we couldn't find a bishop in time we started to look for a judge. Bless my step mom she thought to try the judge that married my dad and her and my aunt Brook and Shaun. Judge Rigby was available so we set it up to have her marry us.

I went to David's Bridal to find my dress. I found a simple white tube top dress with a little train. Then there was the sash that I fell in love with at first sight that was black with embroidery at the ends of it.Then there were these Black HIGH heels (keep in mind I never where heels) with a bow that I had to have. Now for my head piece. I was pushing my limits on spending with my budget and I really wanted a veil, but they were pricey so the lady that was helping us brought out a flower that had some net material and feathers on it that was all black that I loved. I was still wanting a veil so I called Brandon and asked if I could go over my limit and of course being such a great guy he said I could My veil was long and white with crystals at the end of it.At last My attire came together perfectly. Brandon bought me a necklace and earrings to wear for the wedding and let me get my nails done.Which I was grateful for.

Brandon wanted to rent a tux sense we couldn't afford to buy one . He picked out an all white tux with a black under shirt, white tie, black handkerchief to put in this pocket, and black and white shoes. His tux went perfect with my dress and accessories.

Just a few more things left to arrange before the big day.
On to the line,my maid of honor was my little sister Aerial, then my older sister Krystle, my sister in law Leslie, and my friend Ally. I had three flower girls My Nieces Meishka, Sage, and Savanna.

Brandon's best man was Ian, then Cris, Russel, and Shaun. The ring barrier was my nephew Corbin.

Are colors worked out great together seeing is how we couldn't afford to buy or rent our lines clothes and they just ended up wearing a black suit and black dresses I think it turned out great.

My sister hired my niece Vanessa Birschbach to do hair and make up for our wedding which helped a lot.I am so grateful and thankful to have had her.So we did a potluck style reception due to we couldn't afford to buy all the food which worked out perfectly.
On October 19, 2010 we had our rehearsal for the wedding half of the people couldn't make it which made me nervous because they wouldn't know what to do. October 20, 2010 Brandon's parents planned a lunch with the parent , we had my dad Lee, my step mom Ingrid,my mom Wendi, my niece Sage, Brandon's dad York, and Brandon's step mom Sandi, and of course Brandon and I. It was intense I wasn't sure how my mom and dad would react at dinner together but they were very respectful. We had lunch at the cracker barrel.
